Formerly Leslie Stephens Design. Leslie Thornton Interior Design is a boutique interior design studio specializing in personalized solutions for residential and commercial interiors. We believe everyone enjoys a home that is inviting, comfortable and reflects their own unique style.

Our approach is sensitive to the individual needs of our clients as we strive to create a solution that is organized, timeless, well-considered, and fabulous. From styling an entire home, to drafting plans for a renovation, our goal is the same. We aim to bring your unique vision to life so you may obtain the look and feel desired for your home.

Leslie Thornton, CID

Leslie brings over 18 years of experience in architectural drafting and interior design passionately into each project. During her formative years, she enjoyed traveling and studying architecture and design throughout the United States, Ireland, Paris, London and Belgium. In 2000, Leslie graduated with honors from VCU’s Department of Interior Design. She then went on to work for several architecture and design firms in Richmond Virginia, gaining experience and proficiency in residential architecture and commercial interiors. In 2003, Leslie earned NCIDQ certification to practice as a Certified Interior Designer, and has since been dedicated to her clients and the profession.
Additionally, Leslie is an artist, mother, photographer, writer, and enthusiast of all things design. She stays inspired by spending time with her kids, gardening, homesteading and caring for her backyard babies!
